Connie

We lost our dear Connie on 10th June 2011, leaving our family desperately sad, especially her devoted sister Maisie.

Connie came into our lives in 2007, when Sandy brought out to meet us, and her sister on our first visit to East midlands. Connie followed bells sandy shook for her to follow, as she was completely blind having just having had her poorly eyes removed, but tail happily wagging, as was always Connie’s way.

We were hooked and soon after we adopted them both.  Connie especially loved her dad and listened to him above us all, she followed him faithfully and always had the waggiest tail for him, he misses you Connie Lou.

Connie surprised everyone she met with her bravery and her ability to do almost anything any seeing dog could. Connie has been and will continue to be our inspiration to help other impaired dogs.

Connie we miss your funny ways, your whirly tail and lolloping field romps, your listening looks, even your early morning barks and our bruised legs! But after being unwell off and on for weeks and after so many tests, which you so quietly and graciously excepted, you let us know that you had had enough, you died in our arms at 5.30pm. So with tears as I type, I say goodbye to the faith fullest of friends and the best of family, its not the same without you, but we know your in a better place free of pain and seeing again and we know we will meet again.

We love you always.
